REFUND POLICY

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Remote Photoshoots provides customized creative services and digital image products. Because each order is individually created for the client, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the order and whether work has already begun.

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through RemotePhotoshoots.com unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific service.

1. Cancellations Before Work Begins

If you cancel your order before Remote Photoshoots has begun work on your project, you may request a refund.

Any non-refundable transaction or payment-processing fees charged by a third-party payment provider may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

2. When Work Is Considered to Have Begun

Work is considered to have begun once Remote Photoshoots has started performing services related to your order.

This may include:

  • Reviewing submitted reference photographs

  • Reviewing your questionnaire or creative preferences

  • Evaluating likeness or image quality

  • Developing creative direction

  • Planning wardrobe, styling, posing, lighting, or setting

  • Creating or generating images

  • Editing or retouching images

  • Preparing proofs

  • Performing requested appearance modifications

  • Communicating individualized creative recommendations for your project

Because these services are customized to the individual client, an order may be considered in progress even if final images have not yet been delivered.

3. Refunds After Work Begins

Once work has begun, payments are generally non-refundable.

This is because Remote Photoshoots has already invested individualized creative time, labor, and production resources into the order.

Depending on the circumstances, Remote Photoshoots may choose to provide a correction, replacement, additional revision, partial refund, service credit, or other reasonable resolution.

Any such accommodation is determined based on the circumstances of the individual order and does not create an obligation to provide the same resolution in future cases.

4. Completed and Delivered Images

Completed digital images are non-refundable once final delivery has occurred, except where required by applicable law or where Remote Photoshoots determines that the purchased service was not provided as described.

Refunds will not normally be issued because:

  • You change your mind after receiving the images.

  • You decide not to use the images.

  • You prefer a different style after approving the original direction.

  • Your employer, client, dating platform, social media platform, or another third party does not accept or use the image.

  • You later change your hairstyle, appearance, branding, profession, or personal preferences.

5. Proofs and Revisions

Where a service includes proofs or revisions, you are responsible for reviewing them carefully and communicating requested changes within the revision allowance included with your service.

Revision allowances vary by service.

A revision is intended to refine an existing image or approved creative direction.

Included revisions do not provide an unlimited right to restart the project or request entirely new concepts.

Once a proof has been approved and the final image has been completed, additional changes may require an additional fee.

Approval of a proof generally indicates acceptance of the major creative direction shown in that image.

6. Changes in Creative Direction

Requests that substantially change the original creative direction may be treated as a new image, additional service, or new order rather than a revision.

Examples may include major changes to:

  • Wardrobe

  • Hairstyle or hair color

  • Makeup

  • Facial hair

  • Pose

  • Expression

  • Background or location

  • Lighting style

  • Body presentation

  • Branding concept

  • Overall photographic style

  • The intended use of the image

A change of preference after work has begun does not automatically qualify the order for a refund.

Remote Photoshoots will communicate when a requested change falls outside the scope of the purchased service or included revisions.

7. Reference Photo Quality

The quality and consistency of the reference photographs you submit can affect the final result.

You are responsible for providing clear and usable reference photographs that reasonably show your current appearance.

Factors such as poor lighting, heavy filters, extreme angles, low resolution, outdated photographs, inconsistent hairstyles, substantial changes in appearance, or limited facial visibility may affect likeness and image quality.

Remote Photoshoots may request additional photographs when necessary.

If you decline or are unable to provide reasonably requested reference photographs, Remote Photoshoots may be unable to complete the order as originally intended.

Variations caused by insufficient, inaccurate, or inconsistent reference photographs do not automatically qualify an order for a refund.

8. Appearance Modifications

Appearance Modification services involve subjective aesthetic choices.

You are responsible for clearly communicating the modification you want before work begins.

Examples may include changes to:

  • Hair

  • Facial hair

  • Makeup

  • Clothing

  • Age presentation

  • Skin appearance

  • Facial features

  • Other visible characteristics

Remote Photoshoots will make reasonable efforts to follow the requested direction, but creative simulations cannot guarantee that every modification will match a client's imagined result exactly.

A refund will not normally be issued solely because you later decide that you prefer your original appearance or no longer want the requested modification.

9. Client Delays and Abandoned Orders

Remote Photoshoots may require additional photographs, selections, approvals, answers, or other information from you in order to complete an order.

You are responsible for responding within a reasonable period.

If a project cannot proceed because required information or materials have not been provided, Remote Photoshoots may place the order on hold.

If you stop responding for an extended period after work has begun, the project may be considered abandoned.

An abandoned order is not automatically eligible for a refund.

Remote Photoshoots may require an additional fee to reopen a project after a substantial delay if additional work is required.

10. Technical or Delivery Errors

If you receive:

  • The wrong final file

  • A corrupted file

  • A file that cannot reasonably be opened

  • An image belonging to another client

  • A delivery that does not correspond to the service you purchased

please contact Remote Photoshoots so the issue can be investigated and corrected.

Remote Photoshoots will generally attempt to correct a technical or delivery error before issuing a refund.

If Remote Photoshoots is unable to provide the purchased service because of an error on its part, an appropriate correction, replacement, service credit, partial refund, or full refund may be provided depending on the circumstances.

11. Duplicate Charges

If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same purchase, please contact Remote Photoshoots.

Verified duplicate charges will be refunded where appropriate.

12. Service Cancellation by Remote Photoshoots

Remote Photoshoots may refuse, cancel, or discontinue an order in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.

This may occur because of:

  • Suspected fraud

  • Unauthorized use of another person's photographs

  • Submission of photographs depicting a person under 18

  • Intellectual property concerns

  • Unlawful or prohibited requests

  • Abusive or threatening conduct

  • Nonpayment

  • Requests outside the scope of the service

  • Other violations of the Terms & Conditions

If Remote Photoshoots cancels an order before meaningful work has begun, the client will generally receive a refund of the amount paid, subject to any lawful non-refundable payment-processing fees.

If an order is cancelled after work has begun because of a client's violation of the Terms & Conditions, refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances and the amount of work already completed.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a billing error or service problem has occurred, please contact Remote Photoshoots before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so there is an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights provided by your payment provider or applicable law.

Remote Photoshoots may provide order records, communications, proof approvals, delivery records, and other relevant information to payment processors or financial institutions when responding to a payment dispute.

14. How to Request a Refund

To request a cancellation or refund review, contact Remote Photoshoots through the Contact page on RemotePhotoshoots.com.

Please include:

  • Your name

  • Your order information

  • The service purchased

  • A brief explanation of the issue

Remote Photoshoots may request additional information necessary to review the request.

Refund eligibility will be determined based on the status of the order, the work already completed, the service purchased, and the terms of this Refund Policy.

15. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method when reasonably possible.

The time required for a refund to appear in your account may depend on the payment processor, bank, or card issuer and is outside the control of Remote Photoshoots.

16. Your Legal Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy eliminates or limits any refund, cancellation, consumer-protection, or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

If applicable law provides you with rights that are more favorable than this policy, those rights will apply.

17. Relationship to Other Policies

This Refund Policy should be read together with the Remote Photoshoots Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

If a specific service description contains additional refund or revision terms, those terms may also apply to that service to the extent permitted by law.

18. Contact

Questions about cancellations, refunds, billing issues, or this Refund Policy may be submitted through the Contact page on RemotePhotoshoots.com.
