Photography has always evolved. This is simply the next chapter.
I’m a professional portrait photographer with 10 years of experience creating portraits designed to help people see themselves at their best.
My own photography journey began with film and developing photographs in a darkroom. Over the years, I experienced the medium evolve firsthand—from film to digital cameras, then Photoshop and Lightroom, and eventually camera phones. With nearly every major transition, there was resistance. Each new tool was, at some point, criticized for making photography less authentic or somehow “not real photography.”
But photography has always evolved. The tools change. The photographer’s eye, judgment, and creative intent are what give the image meaning.
Long before I made AI-assisted portrait creation I learned that creating a great portrait is about far more than the camera. It’s understanding light, composition, color, posing, expression, and how all of those elements work together for the person in front of you. Those same principles guide every Remote Photoshoot I create today.
I created Remote Photoshoots to make professional photography more accessible and flexible. Traditional photoshoots can be limited by travel, location, wardrobe, scheduling, studio access, and production costs. Advanced AI imaging gives me a larger creative canvas and allows my clients to create polished headshots, personal-branding portraits, and customized imagery without many of those traditional barriers.
But new technology does not eliminate the need for photographic judgment. For an AI-assisted portrait to build trust, it has to feel authentic. It shouldn’t look plastic, generic, or obviously AI-generated—and most importantly, it still needs to look like you.
That is the standard behind my work.
Remote Photoshoots wasn’t created to replace photography. It was created to expand what photography can be.
